Using my camera as an artist would use a paintbrush, I think of my work as visual alchemy: a transformation not of matter into gold but of light, color, and line into images. From minimalism to multiple exposures and from single images to a collection of related images presented as a whole, I challenge reality to capture a feeling, emotion or impression rather than simply recording what lies in front of my lens.
