Using my camera as an artist would use a paintbrush, I think of my work as visual alchemy: a transformation not of matter into gold but of light, color, and line into images. From elementalism to multiple exposures and from single images to a collection of related images presented as a whole, I challenge reality to capture the essence of what lies in front of my lens rather than simply recording it.
